San Antonio Missions finish 2026 season with victory over Amarillo

The San Antonio Missions defeated the Amarillo Sod Poodles 11-10 in their final game of the 2026 season on September 14. The Missions ended the season with a 59-79 overall record despite starting with a seven-game losing streak. Key performances included Kerrington Cross and Justin DeCriscio hitting their first Double-A home runs. Missions manager Chris Tremie highlighted the development of players throughout the season., catcher Ethan Salas, who debuted with the San Diego Padres this month, did not participate in the finale. The Missions are set to begin their 2027 season against the same opponent on April 2.
