The surgery involved the insertion of two screws, requiring an extensive physical therapy and training program throughout the offseason. Despite the severity of the injury, White reported that he feels good as he returns to the defensive rotation. His return arrives as the 49ers manage several injuries within the defensive line group, including Nick Bosa, Mykel Williams, Sam Okuayinonu, and Romello Height. White, who was traded to San Francisco from the New England Patriots last season, provides versatility as a defender capable of playing both inside and outside positions.
