San Francisco Signal to launch volleyball team at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium

The San Francisco Signal announced it will play its home matches at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium starting in January 2027. The newly established women's volleyball team, part of League One Volleyball, aims for an intimate fan experience in the historic venue, known for hosting significant events in the past. The auditorium has not regularly hosted sports events for decades, previously serving as a home for the Golden State Warriors and other sports teams. Signal president Stephanie Martin emphasized the location’s centrality in the Bay Area and its connection to the growing prominence of women's sports. Season ticket deposits are nearly sold out as the team prepares for competition next year.
