Sanjiv Goenka discusses Rishabh Pant trade and Sourav Ganguly coaching loyalties

Lucknow Super Giants owner Sanjiv Goenka addressed the recent trade involving Rishabh Pant and the coaching status of Sourav Ganguly. Pant moved to the Delhi Capitals for 15 crore rupees, while Kuldeep Yadav joined the Lucknow Super Giants for 13.5 crore. Goenka noted that he maintains an ongoing relationship with Pant following the transaction. Regarding Ganguly, who serves as coach for the Delhi Capitals, Goenka stated he never sought to recruit the former India captain. He cited the deep-rooted bond between Ganguly and Delhi Capitals official Parth Jindal as a primary reason for the professional distance. Goenka maintained that he keeps his business decisions separate from personal friendships.
