Santos FC and Leão do Mar Institute conduct beach clean-up in Santos

Santos FC concluded the launch week of the Leão do Mar Institute with a beach clean-up at José Menino beach on Sunday, September 27. Supported by the EcoFaxina Institute, the event saw 117 volunteers collect over 5,500 pieces of waste, totaling 34.55 kg. Luiz Fernando Vella, an administrative manager, emphasized the project's commitment to environmental care. Leão do Mar Institute president Patrícia Gorisch noted the importance of raising awareness about coastal pollution. Following these initiatives, Santos FC aims to extend their environmental efforts with a waste management project at their Vila Belmiro stadium.
