Sarah Harney creates supportive taekwondo environment for women

Sarah Harney founded Endeavour Taekwondo in Rainworth, Nottinghamshire, in 2020, reaching 200 members. About 70% of her students are female, with a focus on providing a comfortable space for women and girls to train without competing against men. Harney began the club after negative experiences at other locations, aiming to create an inclusive environment. The club has already seen success, with two students winning world titles and earning 11 medals at a recent competition in Germany. Classes include tailored physical training and psychological support to bolster confidence and community among participants.
