Sarah Healy finishes fourth in European 5000m final

Irish athlete Sarah Healy finished fourth in the women's 5000m final at the European Championships in Birmingham on August 11. Healy completed the race in 15:40.95, narrowly missing bronze by 0.3 seconds. Italy's Nadia Battocletti took the gold medal with a time of 15:37.84, followed by Spain's Marta García and Italy's Micol Majori. Healy expressed disappointment over her near miss and highlighted the strong support from Irish fans in the stadium. She is set to compete in the women's 1500m heats on August 13.
