Saratoga Springs and Mohonasen secure Section 2 boys' golf titles

Saratoga Springs claimed the Section 2 Class A boys' golf championship with a total score of 301, led by Francisco Cupp's 71. The Blue Streaks finished 15 strokes ahead of Bethlehem, accomplishing a 'triple crown' this season. In the Class B competition, Mohonasen took the team title by two shots over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, finishing with a score of 322. Both teams have players qualifying for the state tournament, scheduled for June. Coach Jake Zanetti for Saratoga Springs noted the achievement's significance after a longstanding goal.
