Sassuolo activates option to buy Muric from Ipswich Town

Sassuolo announced its decision to activate the option to acquire goalkeeper Arijanet Muric from Ipswich Town for €7 million. Muric, who joined Sassuolo in the summer of 2025, made 32 appearances this season, contributing to the team's 11th-place finish in Serie A. Ipswich, however, is not required to sign midfielder Jens Cajuste from Napoli after the obligation clause lapsed, as he did not meet the playing criteria set in the agreement. Ipswich retains the option to buy Cajuste for €7.5 million if they choose.
