Sassuolo has officially signed defender Fedde Leysen from Union Saint-Gilloise on loan. The deal includes an option to buy that can become an obligation for approximately €8 million if Sassuolo remains in Serie A. Leysen, a 23-year-old Belgian player, previously played in the Netherlands with PSV Eindhoven before joining Union Saint-Gilloise in 2023, where he helped the team win both the Supercup and the Belgian Cup.
