Sawyer Phillips secured his first win at West Liberty Raceway on Saturday, leading the Sprint Invaders feature during a night marked by multiple cautions. After building a seven-second advantage, Phillips held off his brother, Tasker Phillips, who climbed back to second place despite an early flat tire. The feature began with three caution flags in the opening two laps due to collisions involving several cars. In other events, Jace Eckrich won the IMCA Modified feature flag-to-flag, and Jarrett Franzen took the IMCA SportMods main event after a restart. The evening also featured victories for Scotty Pratt in the Street Stock class and Austin Honts in the Midwest Jalopies category. Racing activity in the region continues next Saturday with the MVVRCA Hawkeye Futurity at Davenport Speedway.
