Sawyer Solitaria commits to Texas baseball from Kent State

Sawyer Solitaria, a former outfielder from Kent State, has committed to the Texas Longhorns. He made the announcement on social media Sunday, joining Texas as a transfer. Solitaria had a standout career at Kent State, being named the MAC Freshman of the Year in 2025 and making the All-MAC Second Team in 2026. He hit 16 home runs and had a.558 slugging percentage during his sophomore season.
