Schalke extends winless streak to six after loss to RB Leipzig

FC Schalke 04 faced another setback, losing 0-2 to RB Leipzig in a Bundesliga match at Veltins-Arena on October 31. This defeat followed a 2-0 DFB-Pokal exit against Dynamo Dresden, leaving Schalke winless in their last six games. Goalkeeper Loris Karius described the situation as dire, emphasizing the need for the team to improve and score goals. Coach Miron Muslic defended the team, claiming they showed signs of progress despite the loss. Schalke currently occupies 16th place in the Bundesliga and risks being surpassed by 1. FC Union Berlin in the standings this weekend if Union earns points against 1. FC Köln.
