Scotland fans can buy alcohol at Hampden Park for upcoming matches

Scotland supporters will be permitted to purchase alcohol at Hampden Park during the matches against Switzerland on September 29 and Slovenia next month. This follows successful trial sales at previous friendlies against Japan and Curaçao earlier this year, which had no adverse incidents. The bars will be accessible to fans with tickets for specific seating areas and will open two hours before kick-off. Alcohol sales will end 45 minutes prior to the matches starting, as part of an incremental project to assess public safety regarding alcohol consumption at football games.
