Scotland prepares for World Cup opener against Haiti in Boston
Summary

Scotland head coach Steve Clarke is finalizing his squad for the World Cup group opener against Haiti on June 14 at Boston Stadium. This marks the first men's Scotland XI in a World Cup in 28 years, following two convincing warm-up victories against Curacao and Bolivia. Expectations suggest Clarke will stick to a 4-4-2 formation, with Lawrence Shankland and Che Adams likely leading the attack. The Scots are aware of the importance of securing three points against Haiti, who recently defeated New Zealand 4-0 in preparation, signaling their potential threat. Team selections, especially in midfield and defense, remain under discussion as the match approaches.
