Scott Hennessey named Pacific Coast League manager of the year

Scott Hennessey, manager of the Triple-A Oklahoma City Comets, has been named the Pacific Coast League manager of the year following a successful season. The Comets, who secured the best record in the league, claimed the PCL championship on September 24, 2026, after defeating the International League champion Rochester in the Triple-A championship game. This recognition marks Hennessey’s 20th year in the Dodgers organization and his second season managing Oklahoma City. Alongside Hennessey, three other Dodgers minor league managers received similar honors at their respective levels this season. Oklahoma City’s James Tibbs, Christian Romero, and Seth Halvorsen were also recognized as PCL All-Stars.
