South Dakota State fell to Kansas State 2-0 on August 23 in Manhattan, Kansas. The Jackrabbits played with 10 players for most of the match after goalkeeper Mallorie Benhart received a red card in the 20th minute. K-State took advantage, scoring two goals, the first by Langley Mayers in the 28th minute and the second by Gabby DeMers in the 52nd minute.
