Seahawks consider trading center Olu Oluwatimi before Week 1

Summary

The Seattle Seahawks may explore trading center Olu Oluwatimi ahead of Week 1 as they assess roster depth. Oluwatimi has played 13 games since being drafted in the fifth round of 2023, but Jalen Sundell has secured the starting position. With Oluwatimi entering the last year of his four-year rookie contract, the Seahawks face a potential decision to ensure they gain value before he becomes a free agent in 2027. They may keep him for depth if they believe in their offensive line's stability from 2025, which saw improvements in performance. The team has Federico Maranges as another option, though he lacks regular-season experience.
