Seahawks defense ranked 10th in Madden 27 video game ratings

Summary

On July 30, 2026, the Madden 27 video game franchise released its team and position rankings, placing the Seattle Seahawks defense at 10th overall. This ranking has drawn criticism, particularly as the Seahawks defense was widely regarded as the best in the NFL last season. Devon Witherspoon is the only Seahawk player to make the top ten, ranking sixth among cornerbacks. Other key contributors, including Leonard Williams and Julian Love, were overlooked despite strong performances the previous season. This perceived disrespect continues an ongoing narrative surrounding the Seahawks since their 2025 Super Bowl championship.
