Seahawks elevate Trevon Diggs for regular-season debut against Chargers

Summary

Trevon Diggs made his Seattle Seahawks regular-season debut in a 30-23 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on October 4, 2026. Elevated from the practice squad, Diggs impressed head coach Mike Macdonald, who noted that he did everything asked and covered well. Diggs had been working to acclimate to the Seahawks' defense after joining the team in August, and this marked his first game action after a month-long wait. Following this performance, Diggs could see a larger role moving forward, especially with concerns in the secondary.
