Seahawks finalize 17-player practice squad featuring Trevon Diggs

The Seattle Seahawks signed 17 players to their initial practice squad on Monday, all of whom participated in the team's training camp this summer. The group includes former Dallas Cowboys All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs, who re-signed with the team after being cut on Sunday. Also joining the squad is safety AJ Finley, who returned to the roster following a season-ending knee injury in 2025. The unit features a mix of rookies, including draft picks Michael Dansby, Andre Fuller, Deven Eastern, and Emmanuel Henderson Jr., alongside veteran safety Rodney Thomas II. While 17 players were retained, the Atlanta Falcons claimed linebacker Jared Ivey off waivers, and the team released linebacker Chris Paul Jr. with an injury settlement. The Seahawks begin their regular season on September 9 when they host the New England Patriots.
