Seahawks list Tory Horton as inactive for season opener against Patriots

The Seattle Seahawks released their inactive list for the season opener on Wednesday evening, confirming wide receiver Tory Horton will not dress for the game against the New England Patriots. Horton, who entered the contest with a hamstring injury, is one of seven players sidelined for the team. The Seahawks will rely on wide receivers Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, Cooper Kupp, and Montorie Foster Jr. to manage the receiving corps in his absence. Other inactive players for Seattle include Nick Emmanwori, Jalen Milroe, Ty Okada, Beau Stephens, Nick Kallerup, and Mike Morris. This matchup at Lumen Field marks the first Super Bowl rematch on a Week 1 schedule in 10 years. The Seahawks will now prepare for their next game in approximately one week.
