Seahawks players react to Jared Verse's 'beat the Seahawks' message

Seattle Seahawks defenders responded to Jared Verse's recent comments urging his former teammates, the Rams, to "make sure" they beat the Seahawks. Verse expressed this sentiment during his final address to the Rams prior to his trade to the Browns. Seahawks players, including Nick Emmanwori, Leonard Williams, and Jarran Reed, laughed off Verse's remarks. Seattle and the Rams will meet twice during the upcoming season, with their first game scheduled for Christmas Day in Week 16. Verse is set to face the Seahawks as a Browns player in 2027.
