Seahawks prepare for rivalry matchup against 49ers in Week 5

The Seattle Seahawks face the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday in a heated NFC West rivalry game. Both teams come off significant previous matchups, with the Seahawks having dealt with a franchise-record 14 penalties in their last contest against the Los Angeles Chargers. The 49ers, smarting from past playoff losses to the Seahawks, are expected to be particularly aggressive in Seattle. Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor's previous hit on Vernon Davis has become emblematic of the bitter rivalry. The outcome will likely have implications for both teams in the division standings.
