Seahawks release Amari Kight following the return of Bobby Hart

Kight had previously been waived with an injury designation following the final roster cutdown on Sunday and subsequently moved to the team's injured reserve. The agreement allows both parties to part ways immediately, removing Seattle's ongoing obligations regarding his knee injury. This roster shift occurred on the same day the Seahawks re-signed veteran tackle Bobby Hart to the practice squad. Hart, who was released during final cuts earlier in the week, provides the team with 108 games of NFL experience. Seattle is set to open its regular season against the New England Patriots on September 9 at Lumen Field.
