Seahawks rookie Deven Eastern placed on PUP list to start training camp

Seattle Seahawks rookie defensive lineman Deven Eastern will miss the start of training camp due to an undisclosed injury and has been placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Eastern, selected 242nd overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, previously missed most of OTAs and minicamp with the same unspecified injury. He had an impressive college career at Minnesota, making 45 appearances and recording 38 tackles and 4.5 sacks last season. The Seahawks hope Eastern can pass a physical soon to rejoin practice.
