Seahawks rookie Jadarian Price not playing in preseason finale against Chiefs

Jadarian Price, the Seahawks' first-round draft pick, will not play in their preseason finale against the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday night, nor did he participate in the first two preseason games. Coach Mike Macdonald stated the decision followed a bout of upper-leg soreness that caused Price to miss over a week of practice. Seattle's running back corps is facing significant challenges, with veteran Zach Charbonnet on the physically-unable-to-perform list and Emmanuel Wilson sidelined by a hamstring injury. Price last played in November 2025 for Notre Dame and is expected to start in the regular-season opener against New England on September 9.
