Seahawks rookie TE Lance Mason competes for roster spot this preseason

Summary

The Seattle Seahawks are evaluating their tight end depth as they prepare for the upcoming NFL season, with rookie Lance Mason vying for a spot on the 53-man roster. Mason is competing against veterans Eric Saubert, Nick Kallerup, and Harrison Bryant. The Seahawks currently have six tight ends on the roster but will likely narrow it down to four. AJ Barner is set as the starter, with Elijah Arroyo providing backup. Kallerup specializes in blocking while Bryant has more receiving experience, creating a balance of skills among the competitors.
