Seahawks select Iowa OT Trevor Lauck in 2027 NFL mock draft

Summary

In a recent mock draft by Sports Illustrated, the Seattle Seahawks selected Iowa offensive tackle Trevor Lauck with the No. 30 overall pick for the 2027 NFL Draft. The Seahawks aim to bolster their offensive line to support quarterback Sam Darnold and improve protection as they prepare for another Super Bowl campaign in 2026. Lauck, noted for his pass-blocking efficiency, will add competition to the line, particularly given the injury history of right tackle Abraham Lucas. The upcoming draft class is seen as an opportunity for the Seahawks to enhance their roster further.
