The Seattle Seahawks have signed veteran EDGE Dante Fowler Jr. to a one-year deal worth $2.5 million, which includes incentives. Fowler’s addition comes after the team lost Boye Mafe in free agency and did not draft a pass rusher. Seattle's defensive coordinator Aden Durde had pursued Fowler last offseason, and this year both Durde and former teammate DeMarcus Lawrence were instrumental in convincing him to join the Seahawks. Fowler, in his 12th NFL season, is expected to play a rotational role in the defense after recording three sacks with the Cowboys in 2025.
