Seahawks sign QB Adrian Martinez to practice squad ahead of Week 9

The Seattle Seahawks have signed former quarterback Adrian Martinez to their practice squad, strengthening their depth at the position ahead of the Week 9 matchup. Martinez's addition comes as the Seahawks deal with injuries to quarterbacks, including Sam Darnold's absence for the week. Martinez has limited regular-season experience, primarily participating in preseason games, and his last NFL appearance was a kneel-down in 2025. He previously played for the Detroit Lions, New York Jets, and San Francisco 49ers after going undrafted in 2024. The 49ers and Seahawks are set to meet again on November 29.
