Seahawks sign rookie wide receiver Emmanuel Henderson Jr. to practice squad

The Seattle Seahawks signed rookie wide receiver Emmanuel Henderson Jr. to the team's initial practice squad on Monday, August 31. The transaction occurred one day after the club released Henderson during final roster cuts. Seattle originally selected Henderson with the 199th overall pick in the 2026 draft out of Kansas. Although he failed to earn a spot on the 53-man roster, he cleared waivers, allowing the organization to retain him for development.
