The Seattle Seahawks have signed tight end Nick Vannett as they prepare for training camp. Vannett, a 10-year veteran and former third-round pick of the Seahawks, returns after several seasons with multiple teams. To make room for him on the roster, the Seahawks waived cornerback Tyrone Broden. Vannett's experience adds depth to a tight end room led by younger players AJ Barner and Elijah Arroyo under new coordinator Brian Fleury. The team's tight end composition will be assessed during training camp.
