Seahawks tight end AJ Barner left off ESPN’s top 10 TE list
Summary

Seattle Seahawks tight end AJ Barner did not make ESPN’s top 10 tight ends list for 2026. Barner had a productive 2025 season, amassing 519 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns, ranking fourth among tight ends for touchdowns. Despite solid contributions, he fell short of top 10 recognition, partly due to the run-heavy offense and competition from teammates. As the Seahawks prepare for the upcoming season, Barner may see an increase in targets if the team shifts to a more passing-oriented strategy, especially if Zach Charbonnet is sidelined.
