Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay stated Sunday that he expects wide receiver Puka Nacua to be available for the team's season opener against the San Francisco 49ers. The game is scheduled for Thursday in Australia. Nacua is currently the subject of a league review following a March lawsuit alleging an antisemitic statement and physical altercation. While the NFL has not concluded its investigation or issued discipline, the team has received no indication that the receiver will be sidelined. ESPN reported on August 30 that Nacua was not placed on the commissioner’s exempt list. The organization is currently preparing its game plan with Nacua in the lineup, pending any potential changes before kickoff.
