Sean Payton denies Taysom Hill interest as Cam Ross visits the Chiefs

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton confirmed on Wednesday that the organization has no immediate plans to sign Taysom Hill. Discussions between the team and the versatile player have not advanced beyond a brief conversation at the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony last month. The Broncos currently retain Evan Engram, Adam Trautman, Nate Adkins, and Dallen Bentley as their active roster tight ends, with Lucas Krull remaining on the practice squad. Meanwhile, undrafted rookie wide receiver Cam Ross is scheduled to participate in a workout for the Kansas City Chiefs this Friday. The move follows his release from the Broncos, who did not offer him a practice squad position after recent roster cuts. Denver is scheduled to meet the Kansas City Chiefs on the field for a Monday Night Football game on September 14.
