Sean Sharaf challenges UFC over promotion of Gable Steveson

Sean Sharaf has publicly questioned the Ultimate Fighting Championship over its promotional efforts regarding Gable Steveson. Sharaf and Steveson are scheduled to compete at UFC 331 on September 19 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The dispute arose after Steveson appeared in social media collaborations with UFC content creator Nina Marie Daniele, also known as Nina Drama. Sharaf, a former Marine, criticized the organization in a comment on one of the videos, alleging that Steveson receives preferential treatment despite previous sexual assault accusations from 2019. Steveson was investigated following an arrest but faced no criminal charges due to a lack of evidence. Steveson holds an undefeated 4-0 professional MMA record, while Sharaf enters the bout with a 4-2 record after suffering knockout losses in his initial UFC appearances.
