Seaside Beach prepares for largest volleyball tournament in North America

OlympicsThe Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournament will take place from August 5 to 9 at Seaside Beach, Oregon, with over 3,000 teams and approximately 5,000 players expected to participate. Event organizer Sadie Mercer announced an expansion this year, adding a fifth day and new activities, including the Glow Volley event for youth. More than 245 volleyball nets will be set up to accommodate the massive event. The tournament has become an opportunity for young players to be scouted by college coaches. Last year's tournament featured Olympic Gold Medalist Phil Dalhausser, who competed in the open division.
