Seattle Seahawks sign former All-Pro corner Trevon Diggs

Summary

The Seattle Seahawks have signed former All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs to a one-year contract. Diggs, who previously played for the Dallas Cowboys, visited the Seahawks earlier in the week. Injuries and performance issues have marred Diggs' recent seasons, including an ACL tear in 2023. Seattle views him as adding competition in their cornerback room, particularly as they deal with injuries to current players. He has familiarity with the Seahawks' staff from his time at Alabama.
