Seeger and West Lafayette tennis teams advance in regional tournament

Boys tennis teams from the Lafayette area participated in the IHSAA Boys Tennis State Tournament recently. On October 6, Seeger defeated Logansport 4-1 to reach the regional final, where they lost 4-1 to Kokomo, concluding their season with a 16-2 record. West Lafayette also faced Kokomo earlier in a close 3-2 match, ending the Red Devils’ campaign with an 18-4 record. Crawfordsville was eliminated by Parke Heritage, losing 4-1 and finishing with a 16-5 record. Kokomo will face Zionsville in the semi-state championship scheduled for October 10.
