Selden Kolkebeck leads Old Tappan to Group 3 title over Brick Memorial

Selden Kolkebeck pitched and batted Old Tappan to a 5-0 victory against Brick Memorial in the Group 3 state baseball championship on June 14, held at Rutgers. Kolkebeck allowed only four hits while striking out 10 and adding two RBIs at the plate. Old Tappan scored first with a run in the first inning and extended their lead with additional runs in the fourth and seventh innings. The Golden Knights, improving to 26-4 this season, secured their second state title under head coach Byron, who praised the team’s hard work in achieving this goal.
