Seneca starts season strong with win over East Newton in opener

Seneca High School Football opened its season by dominating East Newton 42-6 at home. After a scoreless first quarter, QB Klay Davidson scored on a goal-line keeper to start the scoring. The Indians continued to build momentum, with Davidson connecting for another passing touchdown before halftime. In the second half, Seneca scored four additional touchdowns while East Newton added just one late in the game. Seneca will attempt to improve to 2-0 next week against Lamar, a rematch from last season.
