Serena and Venus Williams to play doubles at US Open

Serena and Venus Williams have received a wild card to play doubles at the US Open, an event they won in 1999 and 2009.

The sisters have played together in the U.S. Open doubles nine times, most recently in 2022, when Serena made an emotional farewell to the sport.

The sisters, who have twice won the title in New York together, will renew their partnership there four years after they last teamed up
