Serena Williams returns to tennis for doubles, considers singles play

Serena Williams is set to make her professional tennis return at the WTA 500 Queen’s Club event in London, beginning June 8. While she will compete in doubles with Canada’s Victoria Mboko, she has not ruled out a potential singles comeback. Williams stated, “I can’t say no right now,” emphasizing her focus on training before committing to singles play. This event serves as a warm-up for Wimbledon. Williams hasn't competed since the 2022 U.S. Open, where she indicated a shift away from the sport. She plans to also participate in the Berlin Tennis Open starting June 15, aiming to build momentum during the grass-court season.
