Serena Williams returns to tennis with doubles match at Queen's Club

Serena Williams will make her professional tennis return at the WTA 500 event at Queen’s Club in London, beginning June 8. The 23-time Grand Slam singles champion plans to play doubles, partnering with 19-year-old Victoria Mboko after receiving a wildcard entry. Williams last competed at the 2022 U.S. Open, and speculation about her return intensified after she re-entered the anti-doping testing pool. While her comeback starts with doubles, there is currently no confirmation about her participation in singles events, including Wimbledon.
