Serie A teams engage Arsenal over Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus

Summary

Roma has begun initial talks to sign Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli, while Napoli is interested in Gabriel Jesus. Martinelli's future is complicated by Arsenal's control over his contract, which has one year remaining plus an option for an additional year. Arsenal is wary of weakening the squad without a suitable replacement. Meanwhile, Arsenal appears more open to selling Jesus, as his valuation has decreased and Napoli is a serious contender among other clubs. The club's strategy is cautious, focusing on meaningful upgrades rather than making hasty transfers.
