Seth McGowan impresses as Colts' potential No. 2 running back

Rookie running back Seth McGowan has stood out during training camp with the Indianapolis Colts. His physical style and reliable hands position him as the likely backup to starter Jonathan Taylor. McGowan demonstrated growth after a controversial preseason fumble that should have been ruled a touchdown. His ability to excel in pass protection and receiving adds depth to the Colts' backfield as teammate DJ Giddens deals with injury concerns. Coach Shane Steichen and others have noted McGowan's promising development, emphasizing his physicality and decision-making.
