Seth McLaughlin named starting center for Lions after moving from Bengals

Seth McLaughlin, formerly an undrafted free agent with the Bengals, secured a starting position at center for the Detroit Lions as training camp begins. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Lions in January and is now starting due to an injury ahead of the team's first preseason game. McLaughlin had a strong collegiate career at Ohio State and was a fan favorite in Cincinnati, where he was initially expected to be a long-term starter after Ted Karras departed. His progress will be monitored closely throughout the upcoming season.
