Seven Broncos players inactive during loss to Chiefs in Week 1

In their Week 1 matchup on September 14, the Denver Broncos suffered a 31-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. A total of seven players were inactive for the Broncos, including quarterback Sam Ehlinger, running back Tyler Badie, and tight end Dallen Bentley. Also absent from play were defensive linemen Jordan Jackson and Tyler Onyedim, as well as offensive lineman Kage Casey. Jarrett Stidham, the primary backup quarterback, did not take any snaps as Bo Nix started the entire game. The Broncos will next host the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2.
