Seydou Traore earns spot on Miami Dolphins 53-man roster

Tight end Seydou Traore has secured a place on the Miami Dolphins' initial 53-man roster following the league's final cutdown deadline. The 24-year-old, who signed a four-year rookie contract earlier this year, successfully navigated the transition from the team's training camp roster of more than 90 players. Drafted by the Dolphins in the fifth round in April, Traore becomes the first graduate of the NFL Academy in England to complete the full pathway to a professional roster. The London-raised tight end previously played for the London Warriors before moving to the United States to compete for Arkansas State and Mississippi State. While Traore remains with Miami for the start of the 2026 season, the New Orleans Saints have released Northern Irish kicker Charlie Smyth.
